Wayne O. King

Wayne O. King, 62, of La Vista, Nebraska passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at UNMC Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska.

A funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 11, 2022 at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, Onawa, Iowa with Father Mark Bridgman, officiating. A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Wayne’s obituary. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Decatur, Nebraska. A visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel in Onawa, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Wayne Orin King was born November 16, 1959 in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Frank and Violet (Stabler) King. Wayne graduated from South High School in Omaha, Nebraska in 1978. After high school he attended Metro College.

Wayne was a machine operator/press operator for various printing companies in Omaha. He enjoyed being a mechanic and working on lawnmowers. Wayne was a collector of many motorcycles, 60’s muscle cars, and boats.

Survivors include his good friend, Timothy and Mary Brutsche of Omaha, Nebraska and many other friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Violet (Stabler) King; one sister, Joyce; and two brothers, Doyle and James.
