Vicki Shol

Vicki R. Shol, 68, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022 at CHI Health- Creighton University Medical Center-Bergen Mercy, Omaha, Nebraska.

A private graveside service will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa. 

Vicki Ronelle was born August 27, 1954 in Moorhead, Iowa the daughter of Ronald and Norma Jean Shol. She attended school at West Monona and graduated with the class of 1972. Vicki continued her education at St. Mary’s College in Omaha, Nebraska for two years.

Vicki enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1974. She was stationed at Luke Air Base in Arizona and Chicago. Returning from the Air Force, Vicki attended UNI where she received her Recreational Therapy Degree in 1980. Vicki worked at Encore in Omaha, Nebraska for over thirty-five years as a Vocational Supervisor, Home Teacher, and Recycling Supervisor.

Some of Vicki’s hobbies include recreational softball and fishing. She was an avid Nebraska Huskers football fan. Vicki cared a lot about the environment and enjoyed being a recycling enthusiast.

Survivors include her sister, Wendy Shol; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald Shol and Norma Jean (Hinkel) Irwin.
