Stacey Lynne Miller

Stacey Lynne Miller, 48, of Onawa, Iowa passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024 at her residence.

A memorial service will be 7:00 P.M. Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, Onawa, Iowa with Pastor Linda Boggs, officiating. A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Stacey’s obituary. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Friday, April 19, 2024 at the chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Stacey Lynne was born July 23, 1975 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Richard and Judith (Hitchman) Mock. She grew up in Onawa and graduated from West Monona with the class of 1994. She attended Western Iowa Tech and took computer classes.

Stacey Mock and Chris Miller were united into marriage November 25, 2000 in Onawa, Iowa. To this union two children were born, Jake and Josh.

Stacey worked as a secretary at Westendorf Manufacturing, helped her dad at the law office, and worked for her aunt, Lucinda with marketing and design. At the age of 23 years old Stacey was diagnosed with MS.

Stacey enjoyed boating, arts and crafts, and taking care of her yard. She was a member of the Blencoe United Church of Christ, Blencoe, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband, Chris Miller of Onawa, Iowa; her children, Jake Miller of Onawa, Iowa and Josh Miller of Onawa, Iowa; brother, Bryant R. (friend, Shelley Arnold) Mock of Gulf Shores, Alabama; aunts and uncles, Charlie (Cindy) Hitchman of Blencoe, Iowa, James Hitchman (Barbara Boyer) of McFarland, Wisconsin, Rebecca (D.R.) Langren of Carefree, Arizona, and Lucinda (John) Sperry of Norwalk, Iowa; and many cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Judith (Hitchman) Mock; and grandparents, Charles “Ed” and Eleanore (Wolfe) Hitchman and Lyle and Mae (Gilgen) Mock.
