Stacey Maria Jean Allen

Stacey Maria Jean (McMullin) Allen, 47, of Onawa, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 10, 2024, at her residence.

A celebration of Stacey’s life will be 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Buddy’s Tavern in Whiting, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Stacey was born August 17, 1976, in Onawa, Iowa, the daughter of Richard and Roma (Gross) McMullin. She grew up in Onawa and graduated from West Monona High School. Stacey continued her education and graduated from the Iowa School of Beauty.

Stacey and Jamie Allen were united in marriage on August 27, 1994, in Onawa, Iowa. To this union they had three children, Olivia, Taylor, and Devin.

She had a passion for hair and nails. Stacey took pride in being a cosmetologist and a craft artist. Stacey worked closely with her regular clients and residents at surrounding nursing homes, to ensure that they always looked and felt their best!

Stacey enjoyed crafting, animals, boating, darts, and socializing with friends. She loved her family and spending quality time with them. When she was with family and friends, she was always the life of the party—making sure that everyone lived their lives to the fullest and always stayed laughing. She was also an amazing dog mom to 5 dogs, and many others that have passed on. She made sure that they lived a spoiled life, and that they were always well taken care of. Her love for dogs and all animals was passed down to all of her children, but her love for music was most specifically passed on to her son Devin which created a passion for him that he will always follow.

Survivors include her husband, Jamie Allen; children, Olivia (Selene) Allen, Taylor (Logan Davis) Allen, and Devin (Laura Lambertsen) Allen; grandchild, Rylinn Allen; uncle, Jeff Gross; and many other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Roma McMullin; and sister, Treva Lee.
