Roger Ray Hansen

Roger Ray Hansen, 76, of Little Sioux, Iowa passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Burgess Health Center, Onawa, Iowa.

A graveside memorial service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 13, 2022 at Little Sioux Cemetery, Little Sioux, Iowa with Darren C. E. Goslar, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Roger Ray was born April 13, 1946 in Pisgah, Iowa, the son of Wilburn “Bill” and Mae (Haynes) Hansen. He attended school in Little Sioux, Iowa. Roger was a farm laborer for many years. Roger gave the Gift of Life as an organ donor through the Iowa Donor Network.

Survivors include his brother, Robert L. (Carolyn) Hansen of Onawa, Iowa; nephew, Justin Hansen and family of Salix, Iowa; niece, Wendy Hansen of Omaha, Nebraska; cousin, Sharon Haynes of Onawa, Iowa; sister-in-law, Rosie Hanson of Ute, Iowa; and special friends, Bryan (Heidi) Bieler of Castana, Iowa.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mae (Haynes) Hansen; brother, Richard D. Hansen; cousin, Arthur Haynes; and many extended family members.
