Robin Gayle Jones

Robin Gayle Jones, 68, of Whiting, Iowa passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Burgess Health Center, Onawa, Iowa.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wayne Bahr, officiating. A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Robin’s obituary. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the Goslar Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Robin Gayle was born January 1, 1957, the daughter of Forrest and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Ross) Harrison. She grew up in Missouri and graduated from Truman High School with the class of 1975 in Independence, Missouri. After high school Robin started working. Some of the jobs included the Sears store, Little Roo’s, Holmes Publishing, and MCI.

Robin Harrison and Robert Jones were united into marriage March 2, 1990 in Sioux City, Iowa. Robin loved being a mom and raising her four children, Nicholle, Ryan, Aaron, and Jason.

She enjoyed playing the piano, couponing, crafting, needle point, sewing, baking, and was an excellent cook. Robin loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Whiting Church of Christ and enjoyed helping with the deaf missions.

Survivors include her husband, Robert “Bob” Jones of Whiting, Iowa; her mother, Betty Harrison of Independence, Missouri; children, Nicholle (Trevor) Mammen of Sioux City, Iowa, Ryan (LuAnn) Rice of Independence, Missouri, Aaron (Kayla) Rice of Parkville, Missouri, and Jason (Dana) Rice of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren, Tyler (Kaila) Mammen, Mariah (Wes) Johnson, Kailie (Ethan Spotten) Mammen, Jade Mammen, Caleb Rice, Chloe Rice, Cyiah Rice, Caden Rice, Hannah Rice, Adisyn Rice, Bently Rice, Isla Rice, Mia Rice, Steven Gaston III, and Hailey Gaston; great-grandchildren, Emery Robin Mammen, Violet May Johnson, and one on the way; two brothers, Rick (Elissa) Harrison of Blue Springs, Missouri and Mike (Kim) Harrison of Independence, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Forrest Harrison; sister, Julie Nails; infant brother, Forrest Gene Harrison, Jr.; and infant sister, Donna K. Harrison.
