Rebecca "Becky" Marie Taylor

Rebecca “Becky” Maire Taylor, 58, of Scribner, Nebraska, formerly of Onawa and Whiting, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Dan's Pizza, Onawa, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Rebecca “Becky” Marie (Heath) Taylor was born on September 3, 1964 in Onawa, Iowa, the daughter of Bonnie Lou (Mortenson) Heath.  Becky attended school in Whiting.  After schooling she worked as a cashier at various places in Whiting and later Onawa.  Becky married the love of her life, Rodney Taylor when she was in her 30’s.  Rodney passed away from cancer in 1999.  The past thirteen years, Becky was blessed to have Bart Ramsey of Onawa in her life.

Becky enjoyed photography, collecting antiques, making candles, listening to music, collecting lighthouses and oil lamps.  She loved spending time with her favorite pets, Kia and Angel, family and many friends.

She is survived by one son, Branden (Shelby) Palmer of Mapleton, Iowa; one daughter, Latasha Taylor of Scribner, Nebraska and her fiancé, Daniel Winge; one granddaughter, Ryli Palmer and fiancé, Zed Zevenbergen; boyfriend, Bart Ramsey of Onawa, Iowa; seven brothers, Steven Stebbins, Rodney Heath, Roger (Amber) Heath, Chad Heath, Bart Heath, Brad Heath, Ernest Heath; sisters, Ginny Fawley, Brenda Ziegler, Heather Heath, Sherry Yankey, and  Patty Cotter; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many beloved friends.

Becky is preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Heath; husband, Rodney Taylor; brothers, Terry Stebbins, Jeff and Cory Heath; sisters, Cindy Heath and Sue Valentine; and a nephew, Jedediah Stebbins; as well as many other loved ones.
