Patrick "Pat" Beck

Patrick “Pat” Charles Beck, 62, of Onawa, Iowa, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at his residence.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, April 16, 2026 at St. John Catholic Church, Onawa, Iowa, with Reverend Father Shinoj Jose, celebrant, officiating. A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Pat’s obituary. Burial will follow in the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa. A luncheon will be held at the church following the burial. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Patrick Charles was born February 15, 1962, in Onawa, Iowa, the son of George and Teresa (Pokorny) Beck. He attended West Monona High School and graduated with the class of 1980.

Pat farmed for many years with his father. He was a volunteer fire fighter for the Onawa Fire Department for many years. Pat enjoyed hunting, fishing, competition target shooting, and other outdoor activities.

Pat was a member at the St. John Catholic Church, Onawa, Iowa.

Survivors include his siblings, Gregory Beck of Sterling, Colorado, Diane Beck of Omaha, Nebraska, and Richard (Joan) Beck of Omaha, Nebraska; two nieces, Kaitlin Beck of Omaha, Nebraska, and Emily Beck of Bloomington, Indiana; and aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Teresa (Pokorny) Beck, and other relatives.
