Michael "Mick" S. Gray

Michael “Mick” S. Gray, 55, of Ida Grove, Iowa passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center- Bergan Mercy, Omaha, Nebraska.

Per Michael’s wishes cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Michael Shannon Gray was born May 28, 1968 in Onawa, Iowa the son of Donald and Betty (Heistand) Gray. Mick attended West Monona in Onawa.

Mick worked as a carpenter on many jobs in various locations. He enjoyed working on cars, the outdoors, and animals. Mick loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Brittany Gray and spouse Jeremy Dolph of Clarinda, Iowa, Seth Gray of Sioux City, Iowa, Brett Gray of Omaha, Nebraska, and Layla Wood of Onawa, Iowa; two grandchildren, Paxtyn and Bowen Dolph of Clarinda, Iowa; sister, Cathy (Rob) Huntley of Whiting, Iowa; two brothers, Kerry Gray of Ida Grove, Iowa and Kenny Gray of Turin, Iowa; sister-in-law, Betty Gray of Blencoe, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Betty (Heistand) Gray, Sr.; and three brothers, Richard Gray, Donnie Gray, and Edwin (Luanna) Gray, Sr; and niece Angie (Gray Palmer) Marlin.
