Mary M. Stoulp, 70, of Salix, Iowa passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 28, 2026 due to injuries sustained in a house fire.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.
Mary Margaret Stoulp was born June 7, 1955 in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Earl “Corney” and Iona (Brouillette) Stoulp. She grew up in La Puente, California, where she graduated from high school. After graduation, Mary moved to Arizona and worked as a waitress before moving to Salix, Iowa. She worked at Target and Walmart for several years until her retirement.
Mary adored anything related to hummingbirds and stuffed animals, but most of all, she cherished her loyal dog companion. Mary attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salix, Iowa.
Survivors include her brother, Edward Earl Stoulp of Salix, Iowa; a sister and brother-in-law, Marla M. and Jim May of Chandler, Arizona; niece, Danielle (Sean) May Strother; nephew, Chad May; three great-nephews, Hayden, Hudson, and Hunter; and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl “Corney” and Iona (Brouillette) Stoulp.
