Mark C. Madsen, 62, of Logan, Iowa passed away Monday, January 19, 2026 at CHI Health- Missouri Valley, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Mark Curtis Madsen was born April 25, 1963 in Onawa, Iowa, the son of Cecil “Curt” and Ruth “Deloris” (Clark) Madsen.

Mark worked for several years as a welder at Midwest and Westendorf, and later became a truck driver, eventually owning and operating his own truck. Mark owned and operated Fuel & Shine in Logan, Iowa for many years.

Mark had a deep love for motorcycles and could often be found riding his Harley. He took great pride in fixing things and enjoyed tinkering with just about anything he could get his hands on. He also cherished playing cards and sharing a cold drink with family and friends. Above all, Mark especially loved his dogs, who held a very special place in his heart.

Survivors include his children, Nikki (Matt Michael) Madsen of Pisgah, Iowa and Rory Madsen of Logan, Iowa; his blended children, Brianna Cooper of Vail, Iowa and Robbie Ingram of Onawa, Iowa; grandchildren, Wyatt Michael and Laynie Michael; siblings, Ruth “Deeann” Samuelson of Manly, Iowa, Craig (Jody) Madsen of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Yovette “Too-Too” Murphy of Mason City, Iowa; brother-in-law, Ron “Frog” Carter of Onawa, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curt and Deloris (Clark) Madsen; stepfather, Edwin “Ed” Wolfgram; three sisters, Brenda Morland, Debbie Madsen, and Lori Carter; and his great friend, Mark Maybee.
