Mark Alan Archer

Mark Alan Archer, 57, of Moorhead, Iowa passed away unexpectedly, December 24, 2025 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, Onawa, Iowa with Darren C. E. Goslar, officiating. A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Mark’s obituary. A visitation will be 5:00 P.M. -7:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Goslar Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Mark Alan Archer was born November 8, 1968 in Onawa, Iowa, the son of David Archer and Darlene (Corn) Archer Butcher.

Mark and Lori Feige were united into marriage April 4, 1989. To this union, Tasha was born. The couple later divorced. Mark and Christina Moore were united into marriage. To this union, Aaron was born. The couple later divorced.

Mark worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator for Archer Construction. He loved rock and roll music and especially enjoyed playing the drums. He also took pride in carpentry, creating many pieces of iron artwork, and he found great joy in nature, wildlife, and the outdoors.

Mark attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Onawa.

Survivors include his children, Tasha (Russell) Warnke of Carroll, Iowa, and Aaron Archer of Moorhead, Iowa; step children, Elizabeth Carter of Omaha, Nebraska, and Kaiti Ladd of Mapleton, Iowa; grandchildren, Kiley Warnke, Bentley Warnke, and Kennedy Warnke; siblings, Randy (Angie) Archer of Sioux City, Iowa, Dennie Archer of Onawa, Iowa, and Pam (Kevin) Parr of Moorhead, Iowa; sister-in-law, Donna Archer of Moorhead, Iowa; many step-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Archer; mother, Darlene (Corn) Archer Butcher; stepfather, Logan “Butch” Butcher; brother, Ronnie Archer; and former spouse, Lori (Feige) Archer.
