Lynnette M. Johnson

Lynnette M. Johnson, 69, of Whiting, Iowa, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Pleasant View Care Center, Whiting, Iowa, surrounded by family.

Per Lynnette’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Lynnette was born January 3, 1955, in Onawa, Iowa, the daughter of Arlo and Lynn (Nelson) Wulf. She attended Onawa High School.

Lynnette and John “Johny” Johnson were united in marriage in Smithland, Iowa, in 1996. Johny passed away in November of 2020.

She worked as CNA for over eight years at Elmwood Care Centre and worked various other jobs.

Lynnette enjoyed crochet, crafts, watching WWE Wrestling, and watching westerns.

Survivors include her children, Tim (Jennifer) Kropf of Denison, Iowa, Ginger (Kevin Hennings) Meyers of Altoona, Iowa, Stephanie Coleman of Salix, Iowa, and Steven Simpson of Onawa, Iowa; grandchildren, Brandon Kropf, Rebecca (Turner) Peterson, Brooke Kropf, Blaine Brodsky, Dakota Kropf, Caitlin (Logan) Price, AJ Meyers, Brittany (Gary Chase) Coleman, Gavin Coleman, Destiny Coleman, and Colby Coleman; great-grandchildren, Baylor Price, Watson Price, and one on the way in June; siblings, Pat Wulf of Sioux City, Iowa, Tony Wulf of Mapleton, Iowa, Donna Wulf of Marion, Kansas, and Russel (Karen) Wulf of Anthon, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John “Johny” Johnson; parents, Arlo and Lynn (Nelson) Wulf; and brother, Michael Wulf.
