Lindsey Marie Hedberg

Lindsey Marie Hedberg, 39, of Whiting, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at her home in Whiting, Iowa.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Lindsey Marie was born on January 10, 1985, in Storm Lake, Iowa, the daughter of Mark and Judy (Hedberg) Boysen. She attended West Monona High School in Onawa, Iowa.

Lindsey had enjoyed working at Dairy Queen most of her life and had only recently started at McDonalds in Onawa, Iowa, before she passed.

She enjoyed coloring, painting, watching movies, tarot readings, nature, and going on walks. Although Lindsey’s favorite time was with her children, the smile she wore was always more beautiful and brighter around them.

Survivors include her children, William (Grace Monson) Gibson, and Makayla Gibson; stepchildren, John Gibson III, Cody Shuck, Carter James, and Taylor James; grandchild, John Gibson IV, brother, Damian Boysen; and she had few family, but left the world with many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy (Hedberg) Boysen; stepfather, Mark Boysen; maternal grandparents, Ed and Jan Hedberg; and paternal step-grandparents, Robert and Darlene Boysen.

Memorials in Lindsey’s memory may be directed to the family (make checks payable to William and Makayla Gibson) and mailed to P.O. Box 213, Soldier, Iowa, 51572.
