Leslie J. Greve

Leslie Greve, 64, of Onawa, Iowa passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 at UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s Hospital, Sioux City, Iowa, surrounded by her husband and her children.

A visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Friday, June 17, 2022 with a 7:00 P.M. funeral service with Pastor Catie Newman, officiating at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, Onawa, Iowa. A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Leslie’s obituary. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Leslie was born February 7, 1958 in Guthrie Center, Iowa, the daughter of Francis “Slim” Willard.

She graduated from West Monona. Leslie worked as a CNA/CMA for eight years. She was a waitress for many years. She also was a flagger for construction and a rest area attendant for several years.

Leslie and Landis Greve were united into marriage October 13, 1984 in Decatur, Nebraska.

Leslie enjoyed watching movies, watching wrestling, fishing, parades, and having barbecues. She had a special love for elephants, cats, and dogs. Leslie loved having morning coffee with her husband and watching the sunrise. Most of all she loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends. She was a phenomenal wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Survivors include her husband, Landis Greve; three children, Jason (Chelsea) Fox, Erica (Greg Lobato) Greve, and Steven (Jessica Blochlinger) Greve; eleven grandchildren, Destiny Clayton, Carter Clayton, Tyler Pounds, Jayme Fox, Haley Pounds, Gracie Fox, Trey Pounds, Elijah Kluver, Michael Fox, Alora Greve, and Jayden Greve; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Francis “Slim” Willard.
