Kayleen Dee Eaker

Kayleen Dee Eaker, 63, of Onawa, Iowa passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Burgess Health Center, Onawa, Iowa.

Per Kayleen’s wishes, cremation has been accorded. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Kayleen Dee was born March 28, 1962 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Richard and Sharon (Jones) Carrier. She graduated from West Harrison High School with the class of 1979. Kayleen worked for Western Engineering on road construction for many years.

Kayleen and Danny Eaker were united into marriage August 31, 2013 in Corley, Iowa.

She enjoyed reading, going to the casino, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Eaker of Neola, Iowa; children, Joshua (Mary Leaper) Carrier of Elkhorn, Iowa, and Derri Vohs of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren, Paige Carrier, and Lex Petersen; great-grandchildren, Ashton, River, and Bennett; sister, Karla Tacner of Onawa, Iowa; brother, Travis Carrier of Harlan, Iowa; sister, Sonja Urich of Omaha, Nebraska; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Sharon (Jones) Carrier; maternal and paternal grandparents; brothers, Kenneth Carrier, and Kirt Carrier; nephew, Michael Carrier; and several aunts, and uncles.
