June Marie Ottman

June Marie Ottman, 84, of Onawa, Iowa, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, unexpectedly at her residence.

A celebration of life service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, Onawa, Iowa, with Pastor Clif Cockburn, officiating. A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with June’s obituary. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

June Marie was born December 8, 1939, in Onawa, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Helen (Moore) Allen. She grew up in Onawa, Iowa.

She got to build her life around being a homemaker. June loved and cared for her family. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others. June was loved by all who met her. She enjoyed being outside, gardening, and jigsaw puzzles.

June was a Christian and enjoyed having bible study weekly with her friends.

Survivors include her children, Robert (Carla Hansel) Riner of Onawa, Iowa, Debra Hoefling of Sioux City, Iowa, Lisa Knutson of Mt. Vernon, Iowa, Beth (Harry) Dell of Wellsville, Pennsylvania, and Paula Wood of Sioux City, Iowa; son-in-law, Jon Harding of Hawarden, Iowa; she was blessed with twenty grandchildren and was the best great grandma; and other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Helen (Moore) Allen; brothers, Raymond (Norma) Meeker, and Floyd (Patty) Allen; sisters, Joyce Allen, Dora (Bill) Hamm, and Sandra (Terry) Hedum; and daughter, Hellen Harding.
