James "Jim" Farley

James “Jim” A. Farley, 81, of Onawa, Iowa passed away unexpectedly, June 26, 2025 at his residence.

A private burial will occur in the Kennebec Cemetery, Castana, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

James Arthur was born July 9, 1943, the son of Perry and Helen (McCall) Farley. James graduated from Castana High School with the class of 1961. He lived in Omaha a short time and then moved to Texas. Jim lived in Texas around forty years and worked in construction siding houses.

Jim enjoyed watching baseball, working outdoors, and gardening.

Survivors include his children, Ronda, Mike, Stacy, Jessica, and Justin; several grandchildren; two sisters, Jo Ann and Vicky; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Helen (McCall) Farley; and two brothers, Henry and Fred.
