Glenn “Andy” Klein, Jr., 78, of Little Sioux, Iowa passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, Onawa, Iowa with Elder John Carritt, officiating. A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Andy’s obituary. Burial will follow in the Little Sioux Cemetery, Little Sioux, Iowa with Military Honors provided by the United States Marine Corps and the American Legion. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Goslar Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.
Glenn Andrew Klein was born on May 7, 1947, in Scobey, Montana, to Glenn Klein, Sr. and Gloria Eunice (Beeks) Klein. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Andy served honorably in the Marines from August 16, 1965, until his discharge on April 25, 1969. During his service, he earned several medals, including the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal.
Andy worked as a farmhand, welder, and truck driver until his retirement. He enjoyed gun collecting, shooting, and junking, and was known for his sense of humor.
Andy was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and was a supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the American Legion.
Survivors include his four children, Renee, Kathy, Richard, and Tammy L.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Judi (Terry) Holdren, Linda (David) Beckman, Nancy Collier, Peggy Meyers, and Terri McCord; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn Klein, Sr. and Gloria (Beeks) Klein; four siblings; and many other relatives.
