Donald “Donnie” Martin LeClair, 61, of Onawa, Iowa passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 at Burgess Health Center, Onawa, Iowa.
A memorial service will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, Onawa, Iowa with Father Michael Erpelding, officiating. A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Donnie’s obituary. A visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 12, 2022 with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at the chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.
Donnie was born March 1, 1961 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Donald Francis and Mary Susan (Koch) LeClair. He graduated from North High School in Sioux City, Iowa in 1980. After high school, Donnie drove over the road truck for various companies for many years.
Donnie enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved fishing, welding, tinkering on various items, and delivering papers.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Sue LeClair of Council Bluffs, Iowa; children, Sara (Jeremy) Theobald of Onawa, Iowa, and Raina (Fiancé David Henderson) Hoffman of Moorhead, Iowa; step-sons, Adam Wulf of Humboldt, Kansas, and Reinrick (Angela Adams) Gashe of Manilla, Iowa; grandchildren, Madison Carson of Onawa, Iowa, Xander Wulf of Onawa, Iowa, and Gage Wulf of Onawa, Iowa; brothers and sister, Paul (Marie) LeClair of Onawa, Iowa, Teresa Gwennap of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Anthony (Sara) LeClair of Pisgah, Iowa, Christopher (Marcella) LeClair of Stover, Missouri, and Vincent (Saraha) LeClair of Castana, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Francis LeClair; and grandparents, Martin Christopher and Marie Florence (Horstman) Koch, and William and Lucy (Holbrock) LeClair.
