Dennis “Denny” Lee Robertson, Sr.,66 years old, of Sioux City, Iowa, formerly of Onawa, Iowa, passed away Friday, September 16th, 2022 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, Onawa, Iowa with St. Croix Hospice Chaplain, Richard Cogan. A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Denny’s obituary. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.
Dennis Lee was born April 7, 1956 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Bruce and Marilyn (Kirk) Robertson. He grew up in Sioux City, Iowa with his parents and eight siblings. He graduated from Boys Town Highschool in Omaha, Nebraska with the class of 1974.
On April 2, 1992, Denny was united in marriage to Elizabeth Lou Crow in Sioux City, Iowa. She passed away February 5, 2021 in Onawa, Iowa.
Denny was an auto detailer for Larson Motor Center, for twenty-seven years, in Onawa.
Denny enjoyed cars, going golfing with Dennis Jr., and he loved visiting with close friends and family over coffee. He also was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
Survivors include his children, Christina (Dave) Compton of Akron, Iowa, Dennis (Joanne Calvillo) Robertson, Jr. of Sioux City, Iowa, Travis (Erin) Robertson of Sioux City, Iowa, and Scott Robertson of Sioux City, Iowa; four grandchildren, Kristian Robertson, Adam Robertson, Hailey Robertson, and Camden Robertson; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Pam Robertson, Mary (Jerry Horse) Robertson, Sheila (Shannon) Wolff; two brothers, Steve (Lissa) Robertson, and Bruce (Carly) Robertson, Jr.; and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Robertson; his parents, Bruce and Marilyn (Kirk) Robertson; two sisters, Sue Robertson, and Sheryl Banys; and one brother, Larry Robertson.
