Carolyn (Scott) Higdon

Carolyn (Scott) Higdon, age 86, of Kodak, TN, died on Thursday, August 21, 2025. She was born in Little Sioux, IA on December 9, 1938, to the late John Scott and Velora McAdon Scott and was the wife of Lawrence Daniel Higdon.

Private burial will occur in the Whiting City Cemetery, Whiting, IA. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, IA.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Cindy Lee Black of NC and Ann Martin of SC; sons, Jimmie Weaver, Jr. of OH and Brian Higdon of TN; sisters, Sandra Smitherman of IA and Kathy Cleek (Paul) of IA; brother, John Scott (Janet) of IA; grandchildren, Ashlie Hooge of VA, Clay Card, of VA, Joey Glanville of SC, and Kelli Martin of PA; and four great-grandchildren.
