Beze "Sonny" Ivan Clark, Jr.

Beze “Sonny” Ivan Clark, Jr.,85, of Onawa, Iowa, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Elmwood Care Centre, Onawa, Iowa.

A memorial service will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, with Evangelist Dale wolf, officiating. A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Beze’s obituary. Burial will follow in the Graceland Cemetery, Blencoe, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Beze “Sonny” Ivan Clark, Jr. was born November 29, 1938, in Onawa, Iowa, the son of Beze Ivan, Sr. and Ruby (Gray) Clark.

Sonny and Gloria Johnson were united in marriage on February 13, 1968, in Onawa, Iowa.

Sonny worked for the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad and Charles Lakein Farms. He also worked as a custodian for over twenty-one years at Elmwood Care Centre, where he retired from.

He collected cars, baseball caps, and T-shirts. Sonny enjoyed working on bicycles.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Clark of Onawa, Iowa; stepson, Jerry Johnson of Onawa, Iowa; and many other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Beze Sr. and Ruby (Gray) Clark.
