Ardis LaBrune Christoffersen

Born in the late 1920’s, Ardis LaBrune Christoffersen, Onawa, Iowa, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the age of 96. 

A funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, Onawa, Iowa with Pastor Johnathan Illsley, officiating. Live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Ardis’ obituary. Burial will follow in the Grant Township Cemetery, rural Ticonic, Iowa. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ron, Rick, Randy, Tereasa, and Rosalin, and their spouses; 8 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.  She was a member of Ticonic Methodist Church, Ticonic, Iowa all her life until it closed its doors during the Covid Epidemic.

She was predeceased by her parents, Abner and Maude Persinger; her only sibling, Rex L. Persinger; her husband and father of their children, Vernon LaBrune; and by her second husband, George Christoffersen.
